Event Regulations
Last Updated: August 1, 2025
These are the changes made to the Brantsteele Hunger Games Simulator during Royabb events.
Current Changes
Settings and Rules
- Make sure that the death rate is set to Medium.
- Relationships are recommended to be turned off to prevent early match ends, but can be turned on if desired.
- In the event of multiple players making it to the end and calling off the match, all are considered winners. However, a tie-breaker match will be held to determine ranking among the winners. First place becomes host as usual, but others in the group are still able to have input in management and become on-field announcers for the next event.
- Due to her status as the original, ABB Classic is always an on-field announcer
(this is why streams are never done in-character as the current host).
Revisions and Omissions
- All events with direct references to suicide are removed, as well as "begs to kill them" events. The default endgame event is changed to "[Players] threaten to simply leave." and scenario text is edited accordingly.
- The event "(Player1:1) (convinces/convinces/convinces/convinces/convince1) (Player2:1) to snuggle with [typeB1]." is removed. We will not be having a Onceler situation on our hands.
- The hallucination, monkey mutt, tracker jacker, and wolf mutt arena events are removed.
- An error in the event "(Player1:1) severely (injures/injures/injures/injures/injure1) (Player2!1), but (puts/puts/injures/puts/put1) [typeB2] out of [typeC2] misery." is fixed.
- The event "(Player1) (screams/screams/screams/screams/scream1) for help." is changed to "(Player1) (screams/screams/screams/screams/scream1) for no reason."
- The Bloodbath opening line is now "As the contestants stand on their podiums, the horn sounds." and its default event is "(Player1) (moves/moves/moves/moves/move1) out towards the arena edges."
- The Feast opening line is now "The cornucopia is replenished with food, supplies, weapons, and memorabilia." and its default event is "(Player1) (decides/decides/decides/decides/decide1) not to return to the center of the field.."
Additions
Events from the default simulation are in red. This is so events with multiple scenarios, like Arena events, can be appended to. This will be written in the same syntax as the event editor, so take a look at that if you're curious.
